The photo is of the head of what will be a copy of the original Buddha image at Wat Yang Kwang in Chiang Mai Thailand. The original disappeared after Burma sacked Chiang Mai 400 years ago. In the late 1800s the face plates were found buried near the temple grounds. The face plates are in a museum. This image is based on the original face plates.
